At BillPilot, we believe your financial data should remain private. Unlike many subscription tracking apps, we don't require access to your bank accounts or financial institutions. You control what information you share, and we're committed to protecting it.
Information We Collect
- Account Information: Email address and name when you create an account
- Subscription Data: The subscription details you manually enter (names, amounts, dates)
- Usage Data: Basic analytics to improve the app (can be disabled)
What We DON'T Collect
- Bank account credentials or access
- Credit card numbers (except for payment processing via Stripe)
- Location data or device identifiers
- Contacts or personal files
How We Use Your Data
- To provide and maintain the BillPilot service
- To send you billing reminders (when enabled)
- To improve and personalize your experience
- To communicate important service updates
Notifications
We only send notifications you've explicitly opted into, such as billing reminders and weekly summaries. You can adjust your notification preferences at any time in your account settings.
Data Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings. We will permanently remove your data within 30 days of your request.
